The $25 million, 200,000-square-foot Technology Square Research Building (TSRB) is a bricks-and-mortar testament to the state of Georgia’s desire to build a technology future for its residents. TSRB is the Southeast’s premier facility for next-generation communications research. It houses four cutting-edge research centers — Digital Media, the Georgia Electronic Design Center (GEDC), the Institute for People and Technology (IPaT), and provides research space for 500 world-class faculty and student researchers from Georgia Tech’s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and College of Computing.

Located in Tech Square (Midtown Atlanta), the Technology Square Research Building (TSRB) is a vital part of Georgia Tech’s Technology Square complex – a dynamic hub that blends education, research, business, and retail.

TSRB primarily supports academic activities and collaboration, offering a variety of classroom and event spaces, including:

  • A 93-seat auditorium
  • A classroom with 75 desks and seating for up to 150 people
